Justin Michael Block is a partner in the firm.  Mr. Block received his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Studies from Pitzer College in 2000.  In 2004, Mr. Block received his Juris Doctorate from the Pepperdine University School of Law.  While at Pepperdine, Mr. Block obtained a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, the #1 rated ADR program in the nation.

Mr. Block has successfully represented numerous clients in securing entitlements from governmental agencies.    Throughout this endeavor, Mr. Block has developed long lasting working relationships with several Staff members from these agencies.  Mr. Block's litigation experience includes an assortment of real estate related issues such as, property disputes involving easements and covenants, breach of contracts, negligence, and writs of mandates.  Mr. Block also successfully argued Alberstone vs. California Coastal Commission (2008) 169 Cal.App4th 859 in the Court of Appeal, 2nd Appellate District. 

 

Mr. Block is admitted to practice law in the State of California and is a licensed real estate broker with the State of California's Department of Real Estate.  He is routinely engaged by ultra-high net worth individuals to assist with the transactional process from contract formation to overseeing the due diligence process. 

 

Prior to entering Law School, Mr. Block worked at Sports Placement Services, a sports marketing company that represented Muhammad Ali, Sandy Koufax, Jim Brown and Joe Namath.  In his spare time, Mr. Block is an avid sports fan, and if not watching a game, can be found at the beach with his wife Larissa and two children, Jaelyn and Griffin.
